COVID-19 Township Update 3-31-2020

Due to Governor Wolf’s extension of the “Stay at Home” order, the South Coventry Township Office will continue to be closed to the public through April 30, 2020. Township staff will be available during normal business hours via telephone and email. Payments, permits and other documents can be submitted via mail or dropped off out the Township Office by using the locked drop box to the left of the main entrance doors.

The Board of Supervisors’ April 3, 2020 meeting will be held at the Township Office at 7:30AM.  The meeting will be brief, include only essential agenda items, and social distancing standards will be observed. All comments received by 3:00pm on Thursday, April 2, 2020 will be read at the public meeting.

The Board has canceled the April 6, 2020 Board of Supervisors meeting and will be exploring alternative options for future meetings.  Please check the News and Events tab at www.southcoventry.org for future meeting updates.

Due to the impacts of COVID-19, the PA Department of Revenue and the IRS announced that income tax filing deadlines for both the 2019 final return and the 1st Quarter (2020) are extended to July 15, 2020.  The Local Earned Income Tax (EIT) deadline has been also been extended to July 15, 2020.
