Township Parks & Recreational Opportunities

Connie Batdorf Park
Location: 2320 Pottstown Pike (across from the Shoppes at Pughtown)
Description: Connie Batdorf Park is an active recreation park that includes a playground, pavilion with picnic tables and an athletic field, which is home to several local youth athletic teams.

TS Elliott Walking Trail
Location: Stauffer Road & Ridge Road (across from the Bucktown Crossing Community)
Description: The TS Elliott Walking Trail was constructed by an Eagle Scout and is a mulched walking trail loop approximately 1/3 of a mile in length.  The Township is in the process of installing a gazebo at the site.

Woody’s Woods
Location: There are two entrances with parking available at each, 3131 Coventryville Road and 1560 Harmonyville Road
Description: Woody’s Woods is over 260 acres of wooded park land located in the northern part of the township. There are trails where visitors can walk, hike or jog. There are steep slopes from the two entrances to reach the loop trails.
Hunting: The park is closed to the public Monday thru Saturday during the deer archery hunting season. Archery hunters must register at the Township Office to hunt in Woody’s Woods. NO firearms are permitted. Hunters are invited to participate in Hunters Share the Harvest program with the Chester County Food Bank. You can help feed those in need by donating your deer!
