Coventry Food Pantry

The Coventry Food Pantry serves families in the Owen J. Roberts School District and is located in the lower level of the North Coventry Township Building at 845 South Hanover Street (entrance is on Urner Street).  It is operated by volunteers and during the last year has served 122 families in our region which included 403 people!  Established over 30 years ago, the Food Pantry continues to assist area residents from all municipalities in the Owen J. Roberts School District including South Coventry Township.

If You Need Help

The Coventry Food Pantry is a provider for The Emergency Food Assistance Program for Northern Chester County.  To qualify for food through The Food Emergency Food Assistance Program families must meet certain residential and income guidelines.  If you are in need of food, please contact Ginny Wade at (610) 326-5659 for a phone interview.

How You Can Help

Please consider making a donation to the Coventry Food Pantry!  Non-perishable food donations can be dropped off at the South Coventry Township Office, 1371 New Philadelphia Road, Pottstown PA 19465, during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday 9am to 4pm, or call to schedule a time if you are unavailable during those hours.

Recommended Donations Include:

  • Side dishes: rice, mashed potatoes, helpers
  • Macaroni & cheese
  • Canned pasta
  • Canned meats
  • Beef stew & chili
  • Tuna
  • Peanut Butter
  • Jelly
  • Cereal
  • Oatmeal
  • Paper product: toilet paper, paper towels
  • Personal care items: soap, shampoo, toothpaste
  • Laundry detergent

The Food Pantry also accepts monetary donations to help purchase food for distribution. Checks (made payable to Coventry Food Pantry) can be mailed to Coventry Food Pantry, c/o North Coventry Township, 845 S. Hanover Street, Pottstown PA 19465.
