2-1-1 Provides Assistance to Residents

During a disaster, PA 2-1-1 works closely with Emergency Services Departments from throughout the state to provide public information to the community and rumor control and trend analysis to County officials. 2-1-1 also reports community needs that are not being met and acts as the central communication point for other community agencies and non-governmental organizations.

Residents looking for shelter locations, evacuation routes, transportation assistance or help in clean-up or rebuilding can dial 211 and receive answers or direction to the correct agency. To find out more visit www.211sepa.org.

Residents are reminded that if they are in immediate danger they should still call 911.
