A Public Information Meeting for the South Coventry Comprehensive Plan update will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 7:30pm at the Township Building located at 1371 New Philadelphia Road, Pottstown, PA. The Comprehensive Plan provides the Township with valuable data and direction when making decisions regarding community development and land use standards.

For the update, South Coventry contracted with the Chester County Planning Commission through the Vision Partnership Program, which is providing a 70% in-kind matching grant. At the public meeting on November 17, an overview of the process, the plan’s goals, objectives and draft mapping will be discussed. The presentation will touch on the nine topic areas that will be addressed in the plan including: land use; housing; community facilities and services; transportation; natural, historic, and scenic resources; recreation and open space; and energy conservation. Attendees are encouraged to provide feedback on their vision for South Coventry’s future!
