Free KI Distribution

The Chester County Health Department will be distributing free potassium iodide (KI) tablets for people who live within a 10-mile radius of Limerick Nuclear Power Plant on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 2:00PM to 7:00PM at the Kimberton Fire Hall located at 2276 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA.

KI tablets contain a stable iodine that can help protect your thyroid from radioactive iodine during a radiological emergency. KI tablets should only be taken when directed by public health officials or emergency management officials.
